Former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has said that he feels Arsene Wenger is the right man for Arsenal because he not only looks after the current prospects of the club, but also ensures that the club will run properly in the future as well. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been criticised a lot by the fans and the media for failing to spend money, which may have in turn brought success to the club. The likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City dominate the Premier League and, as a result, it is increasingly difficult for a club like Arsenal to win the Premier league title without spending big money. It has now been seven years since Arsenal last won a trophy, and there have been calls for Arsene Wenger to leave the club in the summer. He has been linked with the Real Madrid job just as in the same way he was linked with it before José Mourinho took over at the Santiago Bernabeu. Cesc Fabregas left Arsenal in the summer in order to join Barcelona in a £ 35 million deal. Even though Cesc Fabregas wanted to join Barcelona as they were his home-town team, there have been suggestions that Cesc Fabregas joined Barcelona in order to win trophies. “If I can’t see Barca without Pep (Guardiola), I see Arsenal without Wenger even less. He has been there for 16 years, he is the only Arsenal coach I have known. It would be strange, very strange to see Arsenal without Wenger. I feel sad when I see Arsenal lose. But in football things can change from one day to the next and I am sure that a great club like Arsenal will soon be back on track,” Cesc Fabregas said in a recent interview given to Gazzetta dello Sport. Whilst at Arsenal Fabregas didn’t win many trophies, but one his did win was with Spain in the European Championships. Spain are in great form at the moment, and if I was to have a bet on Euro 2012 online, it would be on Cesc and Spain to retain their title.
